A new experience full of sensations for people who have never descended a canyon before.
Level: II–Medium.
Adventure Sports: Canyoning
We will start the activity at the meeting point in the village of Oros Bajo. Once the introductions have been made, we will get dressed and once we have prepared the specific materials for the activity, we will go for a walk lasting approximately 30 minutes. To do this, we will ascend along the left bank of the ravine, and when we reach an area where we can see the river, we will descend to a dam.
Once prepared and after the explanations of how we are going to operate in the canyon, we will start the activity with an optional abseil for those who want to learn or refresh the abseil manoeuvre or going directly into the canyon of Os Lucas.
A walking area along a path of rock and water leads us to the next 13-metre abseil where we can abseil with the option of jumping in the middle of the waterfall. Continuing down the ravine we reach the most recreational part with the possibility of abseiling, a 10-metre slide or an 8-metre high jump, with the option of repeating any of them. A little further on, we find ourselves at the Oros Bajo waterfall with two spectacular consecutive abseils of 30 and 16 metres respectively, the point where the activity concludes.
After enjoying the beautiful views from the base of the Cascada de Oros Bajo in 15 minutes following a path parallel to the river, we will reach our vehicles.
If you want to make a weekend trip and organise an activity with family or friends, fun and suitable for everyone, this is the ideal activity.
Don’t hesitate and come and discover the world of canyoning in the beautiful Tena Valley.
