Discover the most spectacular rivers and canyons with the best guides specialised in canyoning.

Dare to enjoy canyoning with Inguru Abentura, an activity full of exciting sensations in a wild and natural environment.

You will go down a riverbed, negotiating the difficulties that you will find along the way, such as slides, jumps, abseiling… for this you will use approved, top quality equipment that will provide you with the necessary safety to make the most spectacular canyoning descents with the minimum risk.

We will protect you with a full wetsuit and the harness along with the helmet will be your uniform. Thanks to the descender, anchor ropes and ropes we will overcome the difficulties in a safe and fun way, ensuring a sense of exhilaration and freedom in a magnificent environment sculpted by the force of water.

We do descents all over the Basque Country and Navarre. But we also organise trips to the Pyrenees and Picos de Europa for interested groups.

The star activity for school groups, farewell parties, families and gangs.

We have a group of qualified professional guides, all of whom are Level 2 canyoning sports technicians (UIMLA international qualification), who will provide us with the guidelines to follow in order to carry out the activity as safely as possible.

Don’t think twice and choose one of the aquatic treasures we offer to launch you into the most refreshing adventure!

Which canyon do we recommend?

The descent of La Leze. Without a doubt, it is our jewel in the crown. It is the 3 in 1 activity. Awarded in 2021 by Fitur and Aire libre as the best Adventure Sports experience.

If this is your first descent we could start with the complete Saturio Canyon in Guipuzcoa or the Aguake Canyon in Alava and thus introduce you to this activity. If you are looking for something short and enjoyable, come and discover the Chorretones canyon in Bizkaia. And for more action, the Barranco de Sintxita canyon could put you to the test.

Who can go canyoning?

Canyoning is an activity that can be done with family or friends. Anyone can take part, although we recommend that you enjoy sporting activities, as to descend a river you first have to make an approach to its headwaters.

If you are pregnant, please do not hesitate to contact us.

What is the recommended minimum age?

The minimum age we recommend is from 10 to 14 years old, but always taking into account the difficulty of the canyon. We have descended the Barranco de XX with school groups of XX years old, we have even had clients of 60 years old who have demonstrated their skills in the Barranco de XX.

What does the canyoning activity include?

  • Collective technical equipment (ropes, rucksacks, emergency telephone, etc.).
  • Individual technical equipment (full wetsuit with booties, helmet and harness, backpack with first aid kit and watertight boat)
  • Qualified and specialised guide.
  • Civil Liability and Accident Assistance Insurance.
  • 21% V.A.T.

Recommendations

For the approach take thermal clothing depending on the season (long trousers are always better) and mountain shoes that can get wet but with good soles! Also a small backpack with something to eat, a litre and a half of water per person and sun cream, hat, glasses or gloves depending on the season.
